Poseur tables are fast becoming popular in restaurants, function rooms, bars and cafes for use either as regular tables within the commercial setting or for events and functions. The height of the poseur table is much higher than an ordinary table making it perfect for social events as they encourage people to mingle rather than sitting down and being confined to one seat. Thus, many restaurants hire poseur tables for parties, conferences and business occasions, but regular hire can be costly, and so the investment of poseur tables, even if only for occasional use, is highly beneficial for hospitality venues.
As space is such a large factor in commercial applications, poseur tables are often used not only for social events but also as part of the standard space plan and setting. Bar areas and bar style tables are proving highly popular in busy restaurants, and can often save space where standard tables would be too cramped. Poseur tables can also be used in canteen areas and bistros as they encourage social interaction and so enhance the warm atmosphere offered by such areas.
