Restaurant Design Trends 2019

Restaurant Design Trends 2019
In the world of cafes, restaurants and eateries, interior design can be crucial to encourage customers to come in and getting them to come back time and time again. Read on for the 2019 restaurant interior design trends that have made an apperrance this year.
Eco-friendly design - Being the hot topic of the last few years, eco-friendly design has really taken off in 2019. There are many ways to include eco-friendly elements in your cafe or restaurant, such as plenty of green leafy plants, repurposed furniture and natural materials such as teak, cork and bamboo, all of which have a warm and homely feel to them.
Maximalism is back came back! - For far too long, slick minimalism and industrial design ruled the interior design world but finally maximalism has begun to rear its head again. Try combining different styles of furniture for a mix 'n' match look, or give a wall a statement repaint. A wall of framed images is always a hit, or try using different coloured seats of the same design if you're cautious of going all out.
Multi-function furniture - Cafes, restaurants and eateries have more than just one function - serving as more than just a place to eat your fill, they are also places to work remotely, for friends to meet and catch up and for some personal time to read and relax. As a result, your furniture should be multi-functional as well. No more tables and chairs bolted to the floor - they should be easy to reorganise and move around depending on the event. A great example is Cafe Reality's Loop Bench, featuring six square stools which can easily be moved around for total versatility.
Warm colour palettes - Again, minimalism has for far too long decreed that colour schemes should be plain, simple, neutral tones. The tides have turned at last and warm colour palettes full of mustard yellows and jungle greens are returning to reign supreme. Work them into the colours of your walls, introduce chairs and furnishings in warm shades, or include wall hangings and works of art in complimentary shades.
As demonstrated above, the tides of trends are changing and it's time to start welcoming a busier and homelier vibe into your cafe, restaurant or eatery. Encourage customers in with a comforting interior experience, and keep them coming back with your excellent food and service!
