Celeb spotting hotspots in London
There are a million things to do and see in London. But as the capital city and a centre for the arts, if you're looking to see or snap a celebrity or two, London is ideal. And where better than in one of the city's many celebrity hotspot restaurants? Here are some of the star picks.
Chiltern Firehouse - The former London fire station consistently draws the A-list crowd, making it a high priority if you're looking to spot a celebrity. Jennifer Lawrence, Noel Gallagher, Bradley Cooper and David Beckham have all been spotted enjoying a meal here. Make sure you reserve in advance though, as dining tables are in high demand.
Mayfair - 34 Mayfair is becoming one of the more popular celebrity haunts in London, with recent guests including Imelda Staunton, Anna Friel and even a select few members of the Royal Family. The restaurant itself often collaborates with fashion designers and perfumers, which makes it even more spectacular to visit.
Sexy Fish - On arrival at Sexy Fish, the maître d' hands you a silver Sexy Fish keyring inscribed with a VIP hotline number allowing you to reserve a restaurant table at short notice. Advanced bookings are still welcome though. Kendall Jenner, Ciara and Nicole Scherzinger have all recently been spotted enjoying the Asian-inspired cuisine here.
Kitchen W8 - You'll find a more relaxed and laid-back atmosphere at Kitchen W8 - which just happens to be your friendly neighbourhood Michelin-starred restaurant. Tom Cruise, Giorgio Armani and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are all a part of the recent clientèle enjoying the understated cuisine of Mark Kempson.
Hakkasan Mayfair - Will Smith, Kanye West and Naomi Campbell are just some of the big names who have enjoyed dining at Hakkasan Mayfair. With a Michelin star, luxurious interior decoration, and even an in-house DJ to offer, it's easy to see why. Make sure you try the signature Cantonese dish of Peking Duck and beluga caviar.
J. Sheekey - J. Sheekey first opened its doors as a small oyster bar in the 19th century, and over its storied history has continually attracted the great and the good. Dining here you'll be in good company, with Keira Knightley, Sienna Miller and Bradley Cooper among the recently spotted patrons.
Nobu Berkley Street - Nobu Park Lane's sister restaurant, this luxurious and modern restaurant is the place to be if you enjoy world-class Japanese cuisine. Count yourself among fellow diners such as Calvin Harris and Rita Ora. While you're there, enjoy the Japanese wood-burning oven and 12-seat sushi bar.
