Aircharge, the wireless phone charger

General Info October 27th 2014

Have you ever been strolling down the road texting or calling friends and family and then suddenly your phone switches itself off because of a lack of battery? It’s frustrating isn’t it? That’s all about to change with the new innovative ‘aircharge’ wireless charging unit.

No more wires are necessary now that the aircharge is on the market. Gone are the days of carrying round your phone charger asking an establishment if you could use one of their plug sockets to charge your phone. All you have to do is place your phone on the charging unit and you’re away. It really is that simple. Convenience shapes the way we think (well it does for me anyway) and the aircharge is exactly that. Any establishment that delves into the world that is wireless charging are sure to reap the benefits immediately.

The ‘aircharge’ is sure to be a massive hit throughout the country. I do not doubt that for one second. Many establishments across the country will be rubbing their hands together at the prospect of getting their hands on this new technology. This product would be sure to set you worlds apart from your competitors. It is not only great for the customers that get to charge their phones whilst eating and drinking, It’s also great for the owners. The distinctively sleek design allows the aircharge unit to blend in effortlessly with any table top or backdrop.

This new technology really does give business owners the perfect opportunity to provide their customers with everything they need for an impeccable customer experience. 5 years ago Wi-Fi wasn’t available in many establishments across the country, now Wi-Fi is available everywhere. I’m sure we could see the same with the aircharge wireless surface charger.

McDonalds in Milton Keynes has already jumped on the wireless charging bandwagon. Once a business of McDonalds’ magnitude starts using something like this, other companies usually follow. With the above in mind, it will only be a matter of time before we see the aircharge in a lot more businesses.

How the aircharge works

Aircharge uses an evolving technology called QI (inductive power standard) where a magnetic field in the charger transfers power to a receiver (embedded within your device, charging receiver or charging case) when placed on top, without using any cables. From 2014, Mercedes-Benz will be introducing Qi wireless charging technology into their vehicle range.

Aircharge are a proud member of the Wireless Power Consortium, where members aim to have one global standard for wireless charging that makes all wireless chargers compatible with all phones and battery operated products.

After getting my hands on the product for the first time, it strikes me as the perfect solution for taking wires out of the equation. The one thing that stands out to me with this product is the style that comes with it. It will blend into a table, no matter what shape or colour. The modern design provides the versatility which is needed to set it apart from its competitors.

Be sure to look out for the aircharge sign!!
