Café Reality Buyer's Guides: Café Table Tops

We provide a wide range of café table tops with all different styles and colours. It is important that you think carefully about which table tops you want to but as this will be what your customers will be dining on and you want to make the right impression with them. There are all sorts of table tops to choose from including solid beech tops to granite tops. Below are the table tops that are available in our café table tops section:

Werzalit Table Tops

These tops are one of the most common table tops in the café world. They come in a range of finishes including wood laminates or various other patterned or plain finishes as well as having either round or square options. They are UV resistant and scratch resistant as well as being able to withstand heat of up to 180 degrees. They are for use indoors and outdoors and are all weatherproof. Conforms to all the hygiene requirements for leisure and catering applications and are manufactured in Germany to a high quality. Below are some examples of these table tops:

 

Solid Beech Tops

Beech is probably the most common finish used in cafes/bistros/restaurants. The wood is a light neutral colour and is relatively inexpensive when compared to other woods. We are able to stain our solid beech tops to a range of different colours to suit the look and feel of the establishment. These table tops are 25mm thick, have a square edge and are for use indoors only. Below are some examples of the finishes available:

 

Teak Table Tops

Teak has become very popular recently because of the natural look of it and it can be exposed to all weathers. For use outdoors and indoors, our teak table tops are 30mm thick making them durable too. It is recommended that in order to prolong the life of these tops, you should treat the wood with a suitable teak oil, especially if these tops are for use outdoors. Below Is an example of a typical teak table top:

 

Granite Table Tops

Solid granite is also a popular table top for those who don't want the look of wood. Our granite tops are 18mm thick and have a plywood substrate on the underneath the top that allows the top to attach to a respective base. We have three different colour finishes for these tops and they are available in either round or square options. Pictured below are some examples of these tops:

 

MDF Table Tops

Our MDF tops are all constructed from maple veneer and are polished to either a natural or different finish. They are all 19mm thick and are for use indoors only. They are available in either square or round finish and have a bevelled edge. Below are some examples of these table tops:

 

Aluminium Table Tops

Suitable for commercial and domestic use, these table tops are very popular in the hospitality industry as they are all weatherproof and are light weight so can be moved around easily and stored. They have a signature swirl design to add to the tables' aesthetics. As well as being easy to clean, these table tops are available in round or square versions. Pictured below are examples of these:

 

SM Table Tops

Much like Werzalit table tops, these table tops are available in a wide variety of finishes, as well as a number of different sizes, either round or square. They are heat, UV, chemical resistant as well as being all weather proof and can be made with Inox or Brass rings around the outside rim of the top. For use indoors and outdoors these are strong and durable. Pictured below are some examples of these:
