The final table – coming soon

This Netflix Original show sees 24 chefs compete in a reality-style competition where they will have to produce top-notch dishes from different countries. It's a culinary journey around the world that just might serve as inspiration for you when it comes to running your establishment.

The Show - Each episode of the show will centre around a different country, with chefs being tasked with creating one of the national dishes from that country. This means that the chefs, who are paired up, will have to create dishes from Mexico, Italy, Spain, England, Brazil, France, Japan, the U.S, and India. The dishes that they create will be critiqued by nine VIP judges, one from each country represented and there will be several guest judges along the way. A pair is eliminated every week until the winner is crowned, with their prize being a seat at the table with the nine VIP judges. Coming from the creators of Masterchef, this new show is bound to be a success.

Reality TV - There are always the naysayers out there who will complain that reality TV is mindless. If you are running a dining establishment, you most likely enjoy cooking anyway. So you will probably enjoy watching for the drama and just to see how others work. Nobody would blame you for watching it as a way to escape from real life for a bit.

Inspiration - You could enjoy the show purely for the escapism, but what if you really paid attention to the dishes to see if they could influence your menu? Chefs competing in a competition such as The Final Table are the best of the best and they are guaranteed to come up with something new and different to what everyone else is doing. Ok, you won't be able to replicate it exactly, but you never know what new flavours you could discover just by watching someone else at work.
